Ken Garschina is the Founder and Principal of Mason Capital Management, LLC, of New York. He utilizes 20 years of knowledge, research, and experience to develop investment strategies for his clientele.
For much of his career, Garschina has focused his attention on the study of economics and has been able to successfully apply the results of his efforts in the real world of event-driven investing. Ken Garschina began his study at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Garschina’s early positions with investment firms were research oriented. He was a Research Analyst with Cursitor-Alliance Capital Management and KS Capital Partners. After being promoted and serving both as the Director of Research and a Portfolio Manager with KS Capital, Garschina struck out on his own to create Mason Capital Management. Mason Capital has successfully met the needs of its clients for over a decade.
Outside of his office, Garschina participates in academic and policy debates in economics. He co-authored an article that appeared in the Review of Austrian Economics and serves on the board of a NY-based policy institute, which promotes and encourages robust debate and market-oriented reform.
Ken Garschina holds a number of club memberships in the New York area, and enjoys spending time with his family.
